Summer vacation has already started. Most of us are already planning to travel with their family. In the Philippines, there’s so much you can do – a weekend in the beach, an overnight staycation or simply enjoying a day tour in the farm.

If you’re still looking for exciting activities this weekend, the Frontrow International Hot Air Balloon Festival is happening on April 12 to 14 at The Clark Global City at Clark Freeport, Mabalacat Pampanga, a thriving hub of industry and commerce that you can literally get to by air, land and sea.

What to expect in this event?

A great summer fun fare destination for families and tourist alike! Experience the longest running aerial show. There are lots of activities on the ground. There are over a hundred of food and shopping choices. There are fun activities for kids and families such as inflatable attractions and slides, shows for kids with their favorite cartoon characters. The country’s hottest music acts, along with the best of Pampanga’s band will take the stage every night over the weekend with the country’s hottest acts- Slapshock on Friday, Kamikazee on Saturday and Ely Buendia, Hale and Unique Salonga om Sunday.

During the Press Conference of Hot Air Balloon Festival happened last March 14, 2019 at Enderun , Mckinley Hill Fort Bonifacion, Taguig City. The Frontrow International Hot Air Balloon Festival hosted by Clark Global City, co-presented by SM Clark, powered by Phoenix Pulse Technology, supported by Dickies and Clark Medical City.

Car and motorsport enthusiasts will gather together for several major events that include the National Drift Championship, Slalom Racing, Philippine Auto Cross Championship Series, Philippine Rally Cross Series and Suzuki Motorcycle Philippines Stunt Show.

20 dance groups from different cities will also compete on April 13.

General Admission- 350/person/day
3ft below- Free of charge
Tethered Ballon Ride- Php500/person/ride

Tips When Going to Hot Air Balloon:

  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
  • Bring/wear shades and hat. It could be dusty.
  • Bring bottled water and light snacks. There are food stalls within the area as well.
  • Bring camera and action camera.

The eye-popping visual of larger-than-life gathering of hot air balloons, giant animals, happy faces and more, that moment when they all rise up to the sky in the sunrise is one of the most IG-worthy moments we’ll see.
