Budding GMA Sparkle artist Elijah Alejo is more than just an actress, she is also an entrepreneur at heart.
Proof of this is the recent launch of her new perfume brand called “Haliya by Elijah Alejo“. Inspired from our very own local greek mythology, the character name “Haliya” pertains to the moon goddess – reflected in the brand’s logo.

Haliya is a luxurious perfume line inspired by Filipino mythology – specifically the moon goddess of Bicolano mythology, symbolizing mystery, grace, and strength.
Designed for both men and women, Haliya embodies a minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic, offering a fragrance experience that is both refined and powerful. The scent evokes the goddess’s quiet beauty, making it the perfect choice for those who seek to embrace both strength and grace in every moment.
With a tagline “where the moon’s mystique meets the art of perfumery“, Elijah Alejo‘s curated initial line of scents evokes serenity, elegance, and celestial wonders.
The collection features six distinct scents:
For women:
- Laura: A sweet floral scent, soft and romantic
- Clara: A fresh floral-fruity scent, vibrant and youthful
- Blanca: A warm, spicy fragrance, elegant and sophisticated
For men:
- Florante: A fresh woody scent, bold and confident
- Ibarra: A fruity scent, fresh and adventurous
- Simoun: A fresh spicy scent, dynamic and daring
The names are inspired from great Filipino novels “Florante at Laura” and “Noli Me Tangere” since Elijah also does stage plays from time to time.
In the Haliya launch interview, Elijah Alejo admitted that her favorite is “Laura“, which has a sweet floral scent, soft and romantic.

On other matters, Elijah also shared that aside from her love for scents, she was actually open to the idea of owning and running a funeral home some day, if the opportunity permits. She says that the business looks lucrative, and practical at the same time.
Elijah Alejo hopes that her perfumery business will eventually bloom as the pandemic has been long past due, and the Philippine economy has opened up to more opportunities.
