The season of merrymaking is upon us once again, and this year, Resorts World Manila (RWM) officially opens Grand Fiesta Manila (GFM) with a customary but more meaningful “Thrill-Lighting” ceremony.
Just like in previous years and in a true RWM fashion, GFM celebrations will be showered with grand offers on hotels, live entertainment, dining, gaming, and shopping. Now that Metro Manila is under a more relaxed quarantine classification, RWM continues to be a safe space where everyone can enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.
One of GFM’s highlights is the return of StayCay Your Way 2.0, ultimate staycation promo offered in both Hilton Manila and Sheraton Manila Hotel. Staycay guests can now fully enjoy this all-inclusive package that allows 80% to 100% capacity on other hotel amenities such as pool, gym, spa, and dining outlets. Also happening this quarter is the much-awaited soft opening of Hotel Okura Manila, the newest Japanese luxury hotel in the country.
Keeping the Filipino tradition of eating as a social affair, Casa Buenas will be launching Fiesta de Moldero, a 7-course curated degustation featuring elevated traditional Filipino-Spanish dishes and various signature specialties from different regions. Meanwhile, guests can also enjoy a bountiful feast of lechon in time for Thanksgiving with Lechon Celebracion at Garden Wing Cafe and Casa Buenas.
At the Newport Mall, the Yuletide spirit comes alive as the property turns into a mall-wide museum. The Chrismas Mall-seum will feature an impressive line-up of 12 of the country’s most prominent artists and art houses over a span of 12 weeks. There will also be a 12-day grand Christmas sale from December 14 to 25, with up to 70% off on great finds from Newport Mall shops. The Newport Cinemas are likewise back and now open at 30% capacity.
Guests can also have a chance to win special prizes with lifestyle and gaming promos in the property. Join the”Selfie Spots, Winning Shots” promotions for a chance to win hotel and dining gift certificates and RWM Exclusives items. On the other hand, over Php 5M total prizes are at stake in “Big Mighty Wheels” promo at the Garden Wing and Grand Wing gaming areas. Terms and conditions apply.
RWM is all set to dazzle the holiday season with a hundred stars in live events and performances at the many entertainment venues in the property; from nightly live shows to star-studded concerts, expect nothing but the best entertainment from RWM that started in October until we count down to and welcome 2022. Guests may catch a glimpse of what’s in store for the return of live entertainment at RWM with the much-anticipated comeback of the Draybers Band to the iconic stage of Bar360 on November 17 and 18 at the Garden Wing.
Taking the center stage in this year’s celebration is the refreshed 30-foot tall Christmas tree that marks the Repurposing Our World campaign. Along with all the Christmas decorations in the property, this holiday centerpiece is made merrier and more meaningful with the creative use of repurposed materials, linens, and fabrics. RWM’s in-house design team led by Angelo Tibudan maximized the available materials in the property such as old curtains and linens, discarded mirror panels, used wine bottles, casino uniforms, and theater costumes to brighten up the existing ornaments. Other welcome additions are the Christmas tree’s gold and red flowers and a dozen upcycled bags, also made from old materials that were designed and created by RWM’s partner Ucycle Inc. Not forgetting the true essence of Christmas, 12 of the biggest bags will be given as gifts to 12 partner organizations and beneficiaries, along with goodies from RWM’s partner hotels.
The maximum allowable capacity of certain establishments and activities in the city has been increased following Pasay City’s Executive Order No. 59, Series of 2021 dated 04 November 2021 issued by the Office of the Mayor of Pasay City. RWM has been granted a property-wide Safety Seal to assure guests and patrons that 100% of business establishments within the RWM complex adheres to strict implementation of the standard health and safety protocols set by the IATF and DOH.
