At the heart of this story is Spatio’s first-ever collaboration with the Fashion Accessory Makers of the Philippines (FAMph) and filmmaker/artist Connie Macatuno, who led the store’s defining campaign: #KwentoNatinGalingPilipino.

This initiative highlights the depth of vision, emotion, and purpose infused by Filipino creatives into every product. Each item—whether accessory or apparel—is a story passed from artisan to wearer, connecting personal narratives with collective pride.

A Platform for Filipino Stories

Spatio becomes a living archive of Filipino craftsmanship. Through Macatuno’s lens, the campaign invites shoppers into a more intimate and meaningful experience—where every purchase becomes a piece of a greater narrative. This is the power of storytelling: to move, resonate, and spark pride. At Spatio, it’s felt in every detail.

Upon entry, guests are welcomed by a rich sensory experience—inviting exploration through the aroma of ube exclusively developed to enhance the feeling of nostalgia, the tactile textures of handcrafted goods and vignettes, and the thoughtful curation of merchandise and sound.

The store’s atmosphere is elevated by “Sa Habi ng Alaala: A Tapestry of Filipino Sound”, a three-hour music mix curated by Jorge Juan B. Wieneke V. The mix journeys from nostalgic kundimans to experimental rhythms, folk, funk, and ancestral sounds—layering the space with stories told through melody and memory.

A Home for Filipino Talent

Spatio proudly houses over 100 Filipino makers and designers, offering a curated mix of fashion, accessories, home, and lifestyle goods across its expansive 7,800 sqm three-level space. This season highlights a compelling new wave of local artisans shaping the next chapter of Philippine design.

At the forefront is FAMph, an organization dedicated to uplifting the local accessories industry through the use of indigenous materials and world-class craftsmanship. Featured brands under FAMph include: Alchemista, Abel PH, Lokal, Charming Baldemor, Agsam Fashion Fern, Crystal Seas, Leather Studio Manila, Oel Designs, Nifty Shoes, Strozzi, Style Isle, Lakat, Roweliza, Beatriz, Mara Piñon, and Jmakitalo—each one rooted in tradition and reimagined for the now.

Alongside FAMph, Spatio welcomes a diverse mix of emerging and established Filipino creatives—each with a story to tell and a vision to share.

Beyond Fashion: The Lifestyle Curator

Spatio brings “Kwento Natin Galing Pilipino” to life not just through fashion, but through a full lifestyle experience. Each floor invites discovery—blending shopping, self-care, food, and family into one cohesive journey.

Culinary storytelling continues through Bar Shu’s drink menu, featuring bold reimagining of Filipino favorites like Wild Halo-Halo, Ube Colada, and Drunken Sago’t Gulaman and indulgences from We The People Coffee & Tea Co.—with Filipino-inspired drinks like Kape Latik and Soy Kape, and desserts such as Bibingka Cheesecake.

Whether it’s a handcrafted bag, a comforting cup of local coffee, or a soundscape that stirs emotion, every detail at Spatio is part of the greater story we’re telling together.

This is our story. #KwentoNatinGalingPilipino
